Greeting a Good-Looking Friend

August 31st, 2006

I’ll keep this post short and sweet.

A good-looking friend came over today. My Uncle and I picked her up from the bus stop. As we pulled over at the bus stop, I wanted to go out and greet her with a couple of pecks on the cheek, but she ran straight into the back of the car.

As we got out of the car, I should have greeted her properly then, but I chickened out for whatever reason. Maybe because I didn’t want my Uncle to see.

All this is incredibly stupid I know. I should just get on with it and stop wasting my time blogging!

    Hi there,

I wouldn’t say you’re wasting your time blogging - you’re still making the social interactions, and reflecting on them too! That’s bound to help them improve.

I think you’re right to say it’s all about having more self confidence and self-esteem perhaps. I wouldn’t worry about the little things so much though… on the whole you seem to be doing just fine! In fact it’s probably the ‘planning how to respond next’ part that stops your natural flow? Just a thought.

Anyway, keep up the blog anyway, it’s great reading already!
